The Happy Snappers Camera Club second photographic exhibition was opened by our friend Michael English on Tuesday 23 November.
The work on show was selected by members who travel from all corners of the county and beyond for monthly meetings, which have been running since 2009, under the guidance of photographer and film-maker Alan Keogh.
The Fisherman’s Inn function room was transformed into an exhibition space and all were welcome to attend the cheese and wine reception. The Fitzharris family and friends kindly provided music on the night.
We would like to thank Adrian Dunne Pharmacy in Portarlington for donating a gift voucher for 1st prize and Michael Collins Frames for donating 5 framed prints for runner up prizes.
The Happy Snappers Camera Club meet on the last Wednesday of each month at the Fisherman’s Inn and new members are always welcome.
The club’s motto is Be Happy and Keep Snapping and although there are a number of professional members with outstanding quality work, fun and participation is encouraged at all times.
